A: LifeRoute is a registered charity in Scotland dedicated to fostering positive mental and emotional wellbeing, self-confidence, and personal leadership. It provides first-principles frameworks to help individuals discover their purpose, navigate life’s challenges, and align their actions with core values.

2. What is the main mission of the "Caring on Campus" programme?

A: The Caring on Campus initiative within LifeRoute goes "upstream" into higher education—partnering with universities, colleges, and business schools—to tackle systemic mental health challenges.

It aims to build institutional cultures of confidence, competence, and compassion for both students and academic staff. It regards this as a key requirement to fulfil Quality Education: UN Sustainable Development Goal No4

3. How does LifeRoute define true self-confidence?

A: Rather than viewing confidence purely as a byproduct of "belonging" and “mattering”,

LifeRoute emphasises that true self-confidence reflects self-respect in the form of having the courage to challenge, stay true to your values, and stand up for what is right.

4. What does LifeRoute teach about leadership?

A: LifeRoute views leadership not as a formal title, but as a mindset:

inspiring and encouraging others while actively discovering and following your own authentic path in life.

5. How does LifeRoute approach topics like ego, encouragement, and values?

A: LifeRoute helps facilitate a clearer understanding of foundational human behaviours—such as recognising both superior and inferior forms of ego and their cause, how to provide the right type of encouragement to different personality types, and how to develop your own values life inventory that can be used as a compass for everyday decisions that preserve your peace of mind.

A: Yes! As a charity dedicated to the Common Good, all of our resources, events, and guidance are offered completely free of charge so everyone can access them.

A: Because we offer everything free of charge, we rely on the generosity of our community.
