Why hope?
There is something fundamentally “wrong” with contemporary
education: students are stressed or disengaged, lecturers are
disillusioned and burned out, technology is increasingly taking
over human interactions, and universities are more concerned with
their income, “ranking”, and reputation than with the generation
and transmission of knowledge—or the wellbeing of their staff and
students.
