On International Day of EDUCATION – 24 January, we especially thank all the heroes in Higher Education who are part of, or support, teaching faculty.

You are a vital pinch point for Quality Education (Sustainable Development Goal #4) in all its many expressions, both formal and informal, in our communities.

Out of all the 17 SDGs , it is Quality Education that is considered by the UN as the one that is most pivotal to the success of the other 16 Goals.

However, the UN then goes further to warn that education is in a state of crisis. It identifies FOUR key areas that are needed.

But for this solution to be sustainable, it has to be an inside-out approach starting with a healthy heart in every educator.
