World Kindness Day

World Kindness Day – often described as a day for doing good deeds in the community.

Do we “do” kindness?

Kindness is a human value that motivates us,  influences our behaviour, and the decisions we make. What we “do” is CARE.

But do we always DARE to Care?

It can require us to make a personal stand: one that doesn’t cave into time pressures, social, cultural, or systemic norms, but where we act completely in alignment with what feels like the right thing to do. And the right thing to do is always, always confirmed by how we feel afterwards.

Like everything worthwhile, it demands personal commitment which in turn necessitates deep introspection and inner work. However, the big investment also yields a high level of return in the form of both professional and personal sustainability.

If you seek to care at this level, and are in Higher Education, then you are welcomed as part of LifeRoute’s Caring on Campus collaborative.
